On November 16, 1982 Peter Kim and his family arrived in New York from Seoul, Korea. On November 16, 2002, exactly 20 years to the date Peter opened Blue Finn Grill and Sushi. Peter’s dream of opening a contemporary, yet approachable and affordable restaurant had become a reality.
Peter graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park (1991). Prior to opening Blue Finn in November 2002, Peter gained valuable experience as a Chef, Sushi Chef and Dining Room Manager in Florida and Upstate New York. Peter hopes that the combination of his classic French training and his knowledge of flavors from the Far East help you to enjoy his truly unique restaurant.
